Nike's latest Dunk collaboration is a rather youthful one. Daniel Pacitti, an 18-year-old member of London collective The Basement, is responsible for the shoe's design.

This pair is composed of nine different materials, including canvas, mesh, nubuck, corduroy, denim, and leather. Each piece of the upper uses its own material with unique details including a split toe box, reflective Nike swoosh by the toe, reflective Basement logo on the heel, leather tongue tag, waxed laces, and gum bottoms.

"When designing the shoe, we made each panel a different material to represent the diversity within our community," Pacitti told Nike.

The Basement was founded in December 2013 to connect young creatives in London. Its collab here was revealed following a nine-part series by The Basement documenting nine of its members titled, "Real People Do Real Things."

All of the proceeds from sales of this shoe will go directly to the Youth Futures organization, a mentoring program for London youth. The Nike Dunk Low x The Basement "BSMNT" releases on July 29 exclusively through a collaborative pop-up shop in London, alongside a line of apparel design by ALCH founder Alexandra Hackett.
