Following up the retro release of the OG "Sunset" colorway, Nike is bringing back the Air Max Plus in yet another retro-style makeup.
The "Voltage Purple" Air Max Plus is inspired by one of designer Sean McDowell's original sketches of the shoe. It sports a dark-to-light purple gradient fade across its mesh upper, black TPU overlays, clear toe bumper, reflective bars running up the tongue, and an orange mini Swoosh. Black leather dons the tongue, heel, and mudguard. More pops of color come from Total Orange hits on the tongue and Air bubble. The model's signature Tuned Air logo can also be seen stamped on each heel.
Fans of this 1998 runner will get the chance to grab the "Voltage Purple" Nike Air Max Plus when it hits select retailers on Dec. 15 for $170.
