Steelers Vibes on This Air Max 97

An upcoming release of the Nike Air Max 97 dons a color scheme very reminiscent of the Pittsburgh Steelers. A white and black upper is accented by 3M piping and hits of yellow.

With 2018 NFL Training Camp kicking off this week for all 32 teams, the feeling of football is lingering once again. In very timely fashion, a new colorway of the Nike Air Max 97 has surfaced that evokes Pittsburgh Steelers vibes.

The pair sports a white mesh and black leather upper with 3M piping across its entirety. Perfectly matching the uniforms of the 6-time Super Bowl Champions, yellow accents can be seen on the lining, Air unit, and outsole. Despite Nike being the outfitter of the NFL, this color scheme has no official connection to the franchise. Regardless, there is a good chance that quite a few fans of the black and gold will be matching these kicks up with their Antonio Brown jersey on Sundays this upcoming season.

This Steelers-esque Air Max 97 currently has no official release date, but expect to see this pair popping up at nike.com and other select retailers in the near future for $160.
