Flight Club has become one of the most well-known sneaker stores in the world since opening its doors in New York City in 2005. Its success even allowed the brand to expand to a second location on Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles in 2008. Now, Flight Club is growing once again with the opening of a pop-up location in Miami.
The consignment shop's Miami store is located in the Miami Design District, and along with the expected range of rare and coveted sneakers, will also feature programming to celebrate local artists and street culture.
"Miami is such a diverse and expressive city, you see this reflected in its people and their unique sense of style," CEO and co-founder of GOAT Group Eddy Lu said in an official press release. "As one of our top markets, we’re excited to bring a premier shopping destination where our local Flight Club community and Miami visitors can connect with all types of sneaker enthusiasts and shop authentic sneakers." The popular marketplace app officially merged with Flight Club back in February 2018.
Miami locals and tourists can check out Flight Club Miami at 910 NE 1st Avenue. The space will operate through mid-2019. An exact closing date has yet to be announced.
