Ghostface Killah Has His Own Asics Collab

New York sneaker boutique Extra Butter has joined forces with legendary Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah to create a special pair of Asics.

The AsicsTiger Gel Lyte MT "Pretty Toney" is named after one of the rapper's many nicknames, and is inspired by his love for leather jackets. It features a burgundy leather upper, tan Asics branding on the medial side panels, and a classic gum bottom. Further detailing calls back to the leather jacket theme as well: A leather belt is featured on the heel, buttons can be found on the lateral toe area, and a traditional lacing system is replaced with a zipper lace gaiter to mimic the zipper of a jacket.

Along with this special pair of sneakers, Extra Butter and Ghostface also collaborated with New Era on a burgundy leather strapback that dons the eagle emblem synonymous with the rapper, and a burgundy cable knit beanie.

The Extra Butter x Ghostface Killah x AsicsTiger Gel Lyte MT "Pretty Toney" will be available on Nov. 4-5 exclusively at ComplexCon with an in-store and online release via Extra Butter following on Nov. 7. The sneakers retail at $180, while the strapback and beanie will be available for $36 and $24, respectively.
