Sacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox is one of the latest people to be bestowed the honor of getting their own special Nike colorway. Images have surfaced of an upcoming pair of the Air Max 1 made especially for Fox.
The pair features mismatched left and right sneakers that feature various colors like red, baby blue, orange, blue, and black. Multiple premium materials are also used like stingray leather wrapping the mudguard, pony hair on each side panel, and an iridescent material on the Swooshes. Special details include a "5" on each tongue tag to represent Fox's jersey number, "Swipa" embroidered on each heel as a nod to the young star's nickname, and insoles covered in mathematical equations.
According to @J23app, De'Aaron Fox's Nike Air Max 1 "Swipa" is currently slated to release on May 31. Check out detailed shots of the pair below.
UPDATE (05/21): De'Aaron Fox's Nike Air Max 1 is inspired by his interest in astronomy. The various colors represent each planet in the solar system and astrodynamics equations cover the liner. The special colorway drops exclusively at House of Hoops locations on May 30 before arriving at other select retailers that are part of Foot Locker's family of brands on June 1.
