Following the police reportedly shutting down the originally planned location, the Miami-exclusive "Igloo" and "Rust Pink" Air Jordan 1 release got moved to a docked yacht.
Jordan Brand's special Art Basel launch in collaboration with Social Status was originally slated to take place at a pop-up shop at the Mondrian Hotel located at 1100 West Ave., Miami Beach, FL. Thanks to the aforementioned police intervention, it was moved to Island Gardens, a yacht harbor located at 888 MacArthur Causeway, Miami, FL. Despite the change, all of the pairs of "Igloo" and "Rust Pink" Air Jordan 1s have already been accounted for, according to Social Status' official Instagram. The yacht will be merely used as a pick-up location for the lucky customers who were able to obtain a wristband.
Although getting shut down was likely not an ideal scenario for Jordan Brand and Social Status, moving pairs off a yacht in Miami seems to be a solid plan B.
