In July of this year, @yeezymafia gave us some mockup images of a possible collab involving HBO's hit series Game of Thrones and the Adidas Ultra Boost. Representing the different families and factions of the show, the images showed six different sneakers and now new leaks from social media are giving us a first look at the collaboration.
Shots via Instagram @retroshoparis give us some detailed looks at the second "Targaryen" colorway from the collab. The sneaker features a knit upper that starts at solid black in the rear of the shoe and leads to a red and orange toe box leaving a gradient pattern on the tongue and middle. The boost midsole, tongue, and Adidas heel logo branding all take on a total black look.
The first look of the sneaker varies slightly in detail from the initial mockup but sticks true to the red and black color blocking. The rear heel tab includes the "Fire and Blood" detailing which we see on both "Targaryen" sneakers. With no release or price information available, the collaboration is still believed to be dropping in 2019. Keep it locked here at Sole Collector for more updates.
UPDATE (10/13): Thanks to @yankeekicks on Instagram, here are detailed shots at the upcoming Game of Thrones x Adidas Ultra Boost "Targaryen" colorway. As of now, the retail pricing and release date have yet to be announced by Adidas.
