The Diadora N.9000 has been one of the most intriguing sneakers to get the collaboration experience over the past year. It was first re-designed by the folks at Patta, then followed by Hanon, 24 Kilates, Solebox, Packer Shoes, and Mita. Now it looks like Concepts is getting a chance to work on the model, too, thanks to Instagram photos posted by the store's manager and buyer, Deon Point.
Earlier today, Point shared an image that shows a black-and-white pair of N.9000s, which were broken up with red eyelets. Our instant thought: These are one of the strongest Diadoras that we've seen in 2015. In his traditional fashion, Point labeled the photo with his now-known hashtag, "samplechamp."
So we reached out to Point, and he had this to say: "It's actually not coming out. We chose a different option, so these are a 1 of 1."
Until the final sample is revealed, we'll have to live with what could have been.
