When you think of an avid "sneakerhead", you probably don’t envision a corporate V.P. who’s currently overseeing one of the most powerful, interactive entertainment companies in the world. Then again, Chris Erb of EA SPORTS isn’t your typical executive either. As the former Senior Director of Marketing for the Madden NFL franchise, Chris currently holds the title of Vice President of Brand Marketing at EA SPORTS. With over 400 pairs in his rotation, Chris’ personal style blows away most of the athletes featured in his titled games.

Nike - Air Force III (Augusta Masters)
"I have some Air Force IIIs that Nike sent to me for the Masters. They’re green yellow and red, and have my name embroidered on them. The shoes are totally dirty. I wear them at the Masters when I go every year. It’s literally like the mud from Augusta that I have on 'em. I’m not going to clean them off. If you’re a golf fan, Augusta is the greatest place on earth so I’m not going to wipe off the dirt. They’re the only shoes I have that are super dirty."
Nike – Lunar TR1 x Marshawn Lynch
“The Nike TR1's, they're doing a lot of different stuff with them. I obviously like the ones we (EA Sports) did, but I'm a Seahawks fan. I'm from Seattle so one of the coolest pairs was the ones Nike did with Marshawn Lynch. After last year's playoff run against the Saints, Lynch broke like 35 tackles. In Seattle, the University of Washington thought there was an earthquake that day because the stadium was rocking so hard. So Marshawn Lynch has this earthquake Richter scale logo so they made some sick TR1's. They were green, with skittle stuff all over the bottom and his ‘ML’ logo on there. I think they're really limited. As a Seahawks fan, that's one of my favorite shoes.”
Nike - Oregon Jordan IV (Duck Man)
"Have you seen the Oregon Jordan IVs? They’re called the ‘Duck Man’. They’re player exclusives that they wear on the field and have to check back in after the game. On the back of the shoe, instead of Michael Jordan, they replaced him with the Oregon Duck. They’re fucking filthy. This is the first shoe that Tinker Hatfield actually signed inside and stitched in his name. He dedicated these to a buddy of his that he used to go to the games with who passed away."
Nike – Kobe IV
“I went crazy on the Kobe IVs. I'm not the biggest Kobe fan in the world. Respect. But I've never bought any of the other shoes. For some reason, when he went low top on the IVs, I went craze. I copped almost every color way. I got his high school ones, the Charlotte Hornets ones, all the standards. I’m a big fan of the Kobe IVs.
adidas - Stan Smith
"I’m a huge fan Stan Smith. These adidas are a classic."
EA SPORTS x Nike Trainer 1.3 Max
"I’ve made a dozen shoes. SneakerNews did a really cool piece on the history of all the pairs with EA SPORTS. We did a really sick pair for Marshall Faulk when he made it into the hall of fame.
Converse - Jack Purcell
“I’m actually a huge Jack Prucell fan. I collect tons of these.”
Nike - Lebron VII x New York Yankees
"I was born in NY so I grew up a Yankees fan. You know the Lebron VIIs, when the Yankees won the World Series? It’s says New York on one shoe and 1927 on the other."
Nike Air Max 95 + 360 (Bacons)
“The 95 + 360 collabs, again, it's still not like whoa, but when they started to hit the new bottoms like on the ‘Bacons’, it was like, oh, alright, something’s going on here.”
Nike - Air Max 95
“Air Max 95’s, for sure.”
