Let's face it. If you skate, summer is your favorite time of year. No dealing with bad weather, no school, and longer days of sunshine and daylight mean you end up spending most of your time with your homies headed to your favorite spots. But what about your girl? You gotta have that life balance, bro. Here's the deal. It's a fine line between functionality and fashion. Keep an extra shirt in your backpack some deodorant, and take a look at these skate shoes that you can wear straight from a game of skate to your date. You don't see too many hippy skaters anymore. It almost seems like the tie-dye trend is over. However, if you are one of those kids who thinks that they're trapped in the 70's (but you're really a 90's baby), then these shoes are just for you. The Vans Slip On skates very well, and I'm sure your hippy girlfriend will love looking at the patterns while you two enjoy your pizza date on acid. Pattern or print shoes can be difficult to match with at times, but just throw on a pair of khakis and these Vans will be looking just fine.

Jack Curtin is an incredible skateboarder. With that being said, it was obvious that he'd design a fresh and simplistic looking shoe like the Capitol. It has no seams, a sock lining, two lace holes, and there are no eye soars attached. With a nice pair of dark blue jeans, these kicks will make you look like a stunner. Green of any color variation is in style this season so hop on these suckers. The girl will approve- no doubt.

Regardless of if this is Lakai's attempt to making a Vans Era styled shoe, I'm fully backing it. Every skate shoe company has tried to copy that style, so it's time to move on and leave that issue behind. This shoe is flat out killing it. It's durable enough to jump down stairs with it's shock absorbing sole, and it's simplistic enough to make your date think that you're a casual young chap. There's really nothing wrong with the Lakai Camby, so go make your purchase today.

Austyn Gillette is one handsome fella, so it's to no surprise that he designed a dressy looking skate shoe. Not only will you be catching perfect tre flips in these shoes, but you will also be catching your lady taking looks at them on and off all night long. Don't hesitate on these bad boys, because you can't lose when you're wearing khaki colored shoes.

Adidas- Adi-Ease. Uniform Blue/Nestor Judkins

Like Austyn Gillette, Nestor Judkins has a sweet sense for style. And since he can dress well, he can also design a great color way for the Adidas Adi-Ease. It has a seamless toecap which means no torn layers, and the signature three stripes are a perfect addition to go along with it. The Adi-Ease is a great skate shoe that provides style, fit and board control. This tan and navy color way gives off a smooth vibe that will get your lady shaking in her heels! Many women will admit that men who wear Adidas are something quite special. Don't you want to be that special man?

Remember that time when you said the Half Cabs were ugly? Yeah, neither do I. Not only is this arguably one of the best skate shoes ever made, but it's also edgy and pops out like no other. Camo is hot right now, so if you're trying to make it look like you just came off the set of Duck Dynasty, then I'm sure the Half Cab in camo is a good pick for you. By the way, did you see the women those young guys scored on the show? How did they score those ladies you might ask? Answer: Camo.

There's a reason why Nike has made a million different styles of the Janoski. It's because it's an amazing looking shoe and skates incredibly well. Ask any skater and they will agree. This color way just happens to be one of my more favorite color combinations of the Janoski this season, and I think the ladies will love it...I know the ladies will love it. Grey and gum go hand in hand, and everyone needs a decent looking grey shoe, so why not cop a pair?

HUF- Genuine. Navy/Lime

I could give this Huf shoe a really good description, but everybody already knows that Huf rules. They make quality skate shoes that look great on and off the board. This pair has a lime twist to it that really compliments the navy. Many men aren't willing to take the risk of wearing a casual shoe that has compliments of lime, but these shoes will indeed get attention and praises from your lady friend. They're high quality kicks for a high quality dude.
