Crocs Brought Steven Smith to ComplexCon to Drop Its Ripple Model

The legendary footwear designer was on hand to show off the new slip-on that brings more elements of sneaker design to the company known for clogs.

Crocs has been among the most innovative footwear companies in the world since day one. Now, it's partnered with one of the most legendary footwear designers in the game on a new model. Enter the Crocs Ripple designed by Steven Smith.

To debut the shoe, and drop a limited number of pairs, Crocs and Smith appeared at ComplexCon. There, Smith held sketching sessions, answered questions, and shared game with sneakerheads.

There was also a customization station where attendees could get laser engraving or puff-print heat press graphics added to their Crocs Ripple gear.

At ComplexCon, Crocs changed the game once again, more than 20 years after it started.
