This week’s release calendar is full of great options for fans who are looking to upgrade their fall wardrobe.
The releases kick off with the Skate Like a Girl x Nike SB Dunk, two Ambush x Nike Air Adjust Force styles, and an Air Jordan 9 Boot. Other notable sneakers that are dropping this week include three new Air Jordan 2 colorways designed in collaboration with Shelflife, Two 18 and Titan, the Concepts x Reebok Question Mid “Draft Class,” and the “Florida A&M University” Dunk Low.

Skate Like a Girl x Nike SB Dunk Low

What You Need to Know: Nike SB has tapped the non-profit organization Skate Like a Girl to deliver a new SB Dunk Low collab. According to the Swoosh, this project promotes Skate Like a Girl’s messages of confidence, leadership and social justice. The sneaker features a suede-based upper, with corduroy used on the Swoosh branding and ankle collar. Skate Like a Girl branding appears on the tongue tag while its signature logo is embroidered on the heel.
Adidas Yeezy Knit Runner 'Fade Indigo'

What You Need to Know: Despite the controversy that’s currently surrounding Kanye West and Adidas, fans can expect more Yeezy styles releasing this week including the “Fade Indigo” Yeezy Knit Runner shown here. The sneaker features a multicolored makeup on the knitted upper, a navy ankle collar, and a gum outsole.
Ambush x Nike Air Adjust Force

What You Need to Know: After delivering their first set of Air Adjust Force collabs in August, Ambush and Nike are back this week with two new colorful iterations of the classic hoops silhouette. This time, the model is dressed in vibrant “Burgundy Crush” and “University Blue” colorways.

Social Status x Nike Air Penny 2

What You Need to Know: Fans who struck out on copping the Social Status x Nike Air Penny 2 last week will have another shot on SNKRS this Wednesday. For this collab, Social Status dresses Penny Hardaway’s signature shoe in simple black-based color scheme with university blue hits on the sock liner and outsole. The shoe also comes packaged in a ‘Lil Penny toy-inspired shoe box.
Air Jordan 9 Boot 'Black and Light Gum'

What You Need to Know: Jordan Brand is preparing fans for the imminent winter weather with the release of this Air Jordan 9 Boot. Unlike its basketball counterpart, this version of Michael Jordan’s signature shoe features water-resistant coating on the upper, gusseted tongue, metal eyelets, and a rugged outsole.
Nike Air More Uptempo 'Thank You, Mr. Wilson'

What You Need to Know: As the name suggests, this “Thank You, Mr. Wilson” Air More Uptempo honors celebrates Wilson Smith III, the designer of the silhouette and the first Black designer in the footwear industry. The shoe’s standout details include Smith’s start date with the company of Dec. 5, 1983 featured on the tongue tag along with the designer’s signature and an excerpt from from Bible verse Philippians 2:3-4 on the insoles.
Concepts x Reebok Question Mid 'Draft Class'

What You Need to Know: Longtime collaborators Concepts and Reebok come together on a new Question Mid collab that pays homage to Allen Iverson and his 1996 NBA Draft Class, which happens to be the same year that the first Concepts store opened. The multicolored upper is inspired by all the team colors from the players that were drafted.
Shelflife x Air Jordan 2 Low

What You Need to Know: Jordan Brand has tapped South African sneaker and streetwear store Shelflife to deliver a new Air Jordan 2 Low collab. Flipping the script on Shelflife’s graffiti and street art origins, the upper dons a simple sail-based color scheme while a collection of signatures and autographs from the Shelflife community appears on the insoles.
Two 18 x Air Jordan 2 Low

What You Need to Know: Much like Shelflife, Jordan Brand called upon several standout sneaker retailers across the globe to work on an Air Jordan 2 collab including Detroit’s Two 18. In addition to honoring its home city, Two 18 uses this project to highlight the ongoing Flint water crisis with the gradient outsole.
Titan x Air Jordan 2 Low Women's

What You Need to Know: Rounding out the Air Jordan 2 collabs releasing this week is this Titan x Air Jordan 2 Low releasing exclusively in women’s sizing. According to the brand, this pair was designed by Chi Loyzaga-Gibbs—designer, artist, musician and granddaughter of Filipino basketball legend, Caloy Loyzaga.
Nike Dunk Low 'Florida A&M University'

What You Need to Know: Nike honors Florida A&M University with its latest Dunk Low colorway. In addition to dressing the shoe in its team colors, the upper also features the school’s signature taglines and as well as official logos on the tongue tag and outsole.
Air Jordan 7 Retro 'Vachetta Tan'

What You Need to Know: Dubbed “Vachetta Tan,” this Air Jordan 7 dons a tonal tan leather upper and is offset by yellow and concord accents on the midsole. The shoe also features special details on the tongue as well as on the heel counter.
