Nike's next take on the Zoom Fly SP is one connected to the Chicago Marathon and arriving in stores a few days before the Oct. 8 race date.
The "Chicago" colorway features a maroon shade and translucent upper that sets it apart from standard Zoom Fly releases. There don't appear to be any Chicago-specific details on the sneaker.
The Nike Zoom Fly SP "Chicago" releases on Oct. 5, 2017, in men's and women's sizing on the Nike app, nike.com, and at select retailers.
Nike introduced the Zoom Fly earlier this year as part of its Breaking2 footwear. The model is a takedown of sorts that uses a cushioning system similar to that found in the VaporFly Elite race shoe.
