With many sneaker fans already pegging the Nike React Element 87 as a potential Sneaker of the Year, it looks like Nike has more in store for the React Element line later this year.
Dubbed the React Element 55, the upcoming model follows design language similar to its predecessor, with the only notable difference being the non-translucent upper. As of now, the silhouette is rumored to drop in a handful of general release colorways during the holiday season for $130 courtesy of Pinoe77.
Readers can also look forward to the debut of the Nike React Element 87 in black and sail through Nike SNKRS and other select retailers next month.
UPDATE (08/15): Today brings a closer look at the React Element 55, which is something of a take down version of Nike's buzzing React Element 87 model. Rather than the translucent upper of the 87, this new iteration opts for more traditional materials and is previewed here in "Black/Cool Grey/Dark Grey/Solar Red" and "Black/Cool Grey/White/Volt" make ups.
According to py_rates, these React Element 55s are set to be women's releases, although it's not clear if that applies to the sneaker itself or just these colorways. The model is expected to begin releasing this fall.
