Checking out some NBA Summer League action between his Los Angeles Lakers against the Detroit Pistons, LeBron James arrived at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas wearing the unreleased "Purple Suede" Nike Air Zoom Generation, a colorway first seen ahead of Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
Appropriately paired with Lakers shorts, the Air Zoom Generation, James' first signature model, features a purple suede upper with black accents throughout. Although James has yet to be seen in sneakers bearing official Lakers purple and gold colorblocking, this colorway provides fans with a preview for what's to come.
As for now, Nike hasn't announced a retail release of the "Purple Suede" Air Zoom Generation. Stay tuned to Sole Collector for updates on a potential release.
