Adidas has added another high-end fashion label to its long list of collaborators with the announcement of its new partnership with Gucci.

The Three Stripes confirmed that it has a collab with the Italian fashion house on the way by sharing an image on Twitter showing the Trefoil logo along with Gucci branding underneath. Per Adidas, this forthcoming project “combines the heritage and the creative codes of both brands.”

In addition to the teaser from Adidas, Gucci presented its Exquisite Gucci 2022 Fall/Winter runway show today for Milan Fashion Week, which showcased several of the apparel pieces along with footwear from the collaborative collection.

Adidas has been teaming up with high-fashion brands for years now, including its ongoing Y-3 line with Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto and more recently teaming up with Prada to deliver limited-edition footwear and apparel.

Despite confirming the project, release details for the Gucci x Adidas collab have not yet been announced, but the collection is tentatively scheduled to drop later this year.
