The 'Gym Red' Air Jordan 1 Is Releasing Early for Go Skate Day

Sneaker fans who can't own enough black and red-styled Air Jordan 1s, this upcoming release of the model may be for you.

This colorway boasts a white leather upper with black overlays seen on the toe box, eye stay, and heel. Gym red accents cover the Swoosh branding on both the lateral and medial sides, which continues onto the ankle collar. This latest iteration does draw similarities to last year's Air Jordan 1 "Not For Resale" release, which instead opted for a black Swoosh branding and red-colored outsole.

According to zSneakerHeadz, the latest iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is slated to release on June 29, 2019 for a retail price of $160. Stay tuned to Sole Collector for release updates in the coming months.

UPDATE (06/20): Official images of the "Gym Red" Air Jordan 1 Retro, which is set to release on June 29. According to Extra Butter Art Director Bernie Gross, the shoe will also release at some boutiques early on June 21 in celebration of Go Skate Day.
