After a series of leaks around the project, Nike has at last announced some concrete release info for Undefeated's Air Max 97s. In a piece at Nike News, the brand confirms that the black and white pairs will release exclusively at Undefeated on Sept. 16, followed by a global release of the black one on Sept. 21.
The shoes celebrate both the 20th anniversary of the Air Max 97 and the 15th anniversary of Undefeated.
"Celebrating our 15th anniversary on the 20th anniversary of the Air Max 97 felt like a natural opportunity," said Undefeated co-founder Eddie Cruz. "Why not use a model that is not only respected by our organization but also spoke of the future in its time?"
There is info suggesting that there is a third Undefeated x Nike Air Max 97 in green releasing in October, although no images of that shoe have surfaced.
