Jordan Brand will resurrect its partnership with Roger Federer this summer by releasing more of the hybrid Nike Zoom Vapor RF AJ3s. The shoes, which use the Vapor Tour 9 tennis model as a base and mix in elements from the Air Jordan 3, should be arriving in two new colorways.
The first, what sounds like a "Fire Red" pair, is currently listed as releasing on Aug. 21 in Europe. There's also a "Black/White/Jade" that's rumored to arrive in October. Sneaker release date accounts on Twitter have posted about both.
The Nike Zoom Vapor RF AJ3 made its debut in 2014, when it released in "Black/Cement" and "White/Cement" colorways, complete with "Nike Air" branding.
UPDATE 8/21: Nike has unveiled the "Fire Red" Nike Zoom Vapor RF x Air Jordan 3, seen above. The sneaker will release at the RF19 Pop-Up, located inside Kith Soho at 644 Broadway in New York City, from Aug. 23 to 27. This release is part of a bigger series of events and launches specific to the city that Nike is calling "New York Made."
