Nike appears to be committed to upping the ante every year on its Air Max Day festivities, with successive celebrations packing in more and more releases. An early look at two new models supposedly on their way for Air Max Day 2018 has surfaced on social media, suggesting that the trend will continue with new models to come.
The sneakers, images of which come from leaker @Pinoe77, are an Air Max Plus/Air VaporMax hybrid called the VaporMax Plus 2018 and a silhouette called the Air Max 270 with a big bubble on the heel.
The porting over of the VaporMax tooling onto other silhouettes is not entirely surprising, as Nike CEO Mark Parker has previously alluded to the cushioning being used in shoes beyond the first.
Note that neither of these models have been confirmed by Nike as releasing for Air Max Day 2018 yet.
