The University of North Carolina Tar Heels have been blessed with another pair of exclusive sneakers, although this one didn't surface via the college hoops powerhouse. The Air Jordan 6 "UNC Alternate" was just shared on Twitter by Trophy Room, the Florida sneaker store run by Michael Jordan's son Marcus.
The shoes are part of a collection of Air Jordan rarities currently on display at the store. On the heel are embroidered years referencing UNC's championships, a motif seen elsewhere on this similar white pair of Air Jordan 6s.
Jordan Brand also recently outfitted UNC with a series of exclusive Jordan 32s for the coming college basketball season.
