Nike Unveils the 2019 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection

Continuing an annual tradition, patients from Doernbecher Hospital have designed six new Nike and Jordan sneakers slated to release in December 2019.

An annual tradition since 2004, Nike and OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital have once again teamed up for the Freestyle Collection, a range of sneakers designed by young patients. To date, the program has raised nearly $24 million dollars, with proceeds benefiting the hospital.

This year's collection, featuring six sneakers, is set to release at select Nike retail and partner stores on Dec. 7. Here's a look at the sneakers and the kids who helped bring the brave kids who designed them.
