It turns out that Nike Basketball is actually releasing this year's Academy sneaker collection.
The Nike LeBron 14, KD 10, Kyrie 3, PG1 and Air Force 1 will be available Saturday, Aug. 19 at 2 p.m. PST exclusively at Sports Academy in Newbury Park, California.
In previous years, the Academy collection has been limited to participants, friends and family. There's no word of a wider launch at the moment.
