As rumored last year, Japan-based streetwear brand Neighborhood has a new footwear collection with Adidas on the way, including this unique take on the popular NMD_R1.
The longtime Adidas collaborator reworked the silo with a mesh upper and suede overlays, the latter also functioning as the lacestay. Teeth-like detailing brings Neighborhood's signature aesthetic to the toe, while dual branding throughout officially marks the partnership.
Word is that the full Neighborhood x Adidas Collection, which also includes the I-5923, Gazelle Super, Chop Shop and matching apparel, is tentatively set to release on Saturday, Feb. 24.
UPDATE 02/13: Official images of the I-5923, Chop Shop, and Gazelle Super have been revealed. The Neighborhood x Adidas collection will be available at adidas.com and other select retailers on Feb. 24.
