With all due respect to the commissioned customs, Mark Wahlberg wants you to know that he has the only official Transformers Air Jordan 5s.
Wahlberg showed the exclusive pair on Instagram earlier tonight, thanking his friends at Jordan Brand for the gift celebrating the release of the latest film in the franchise. Reminiscent of the Doernbecher release, the shoe is styled in black patent leather bearing a grid line pattern and Optimus Prime-inspired accents. Embroidered on the heel is '84,' presumably a reference to the year the TV series debuted. The Transformers logo is visible through a glow-in-the-dark outsole.
There's no reason to believe that, other than a possible sample popping up here and there, that this pair will be available to anybody other than Wahlberg.
