To say the Adidas EQT Cushion ADV is a reimagining of the original would be an understatement. The shoe is a complete step forward from 1993 into the future, where sleek, tech-driven runners rule the world again.
Yes, there's an obvious attempt to capitalize on the Yeezy market here—the Cushion ADV serves as the latest alternative. But there's a lot more to take in here. In addition to the OG Cushion, there's elements of the Ultra Boost and NMD worked into the modern architecture and automobile-inspired design, along with a little Y-3 flavor as well. The package is a mix of a Primeknit and suede, but noticeably absent is any form of Boost cushioning—keeping this model affordable at a reported $140.
The EQT Cushion ADV will launch this fall, with this all-black colorway slated to release Friday, Nov. 24 at adidas.com and Adidas Originals retailers.
