As part of its 25th Anniversary celebration, X-Large Clothing has teamed up with Barcelona's 24 Kilates and Diadora for a fresh interpretation of the N.9000 runner.
Inspired by X-Large's gorilla logo, the shoe takes on the nickname of "Copito," a rare albino gorilla only found in Barcelona. A variety of premium materials were used to represent varying hues found on Copito, including off-white suede and nubuck, white kangaroo leather and pony hair as a direct reference to its fur. The Italy-crafted sneakers also feature collection-tying 3M reflective details and hits of soft pink.
The "Copito" sneaker and matching apparel will release Saturday, Dec. 10 at X-Large Harajuku, 24 Kilates (Barcelona, Madrid and Bangkok) and at Ubiq Washington, D.C.
