College hoops are in full swing, and the more games we catch the more we realize these diaper dandies are playing in hotter kicks than the pros. With the Orangemen holding down the number-one spot, we decided it was time to salute one the the most consistent squads in the rankings as well as the shoe game. 9. Nike Air Zoom Flight
When: 1996
Who: Donovan McNabb
Complex Says: No this isn't photoshopped — people forget that Donovan McNabb was a walk-on basketball player for two years at Syracuse. During the 1995-1996 season, the Nike Air Zoom Flight was one of the most popular sneakers out, thanks to an endorsement from Jason Kidd and the bug-eyed carbon look. The sneaker is arguably part of an untouchable era at Nike when the brand perfectly mastered the combination of performance and design.

8. Nike Air Force II Low
Year: 1987
Who: Rony Seikaly
Complex Says: Rony Seikaly was instrumental to the late '80s Syracuse teams and was known for having a legit kick game as well. Here we catch Seikaly in the Air Force II Lows, not the most common sneaker for a big man, but the Air Force sequel found its way on a lot of feet in the NBA and the NCAA alike. Nike has brought back some AFIIs since but nothing like the OGs.

7. Nike Dunk Low
Year: 1986
Who: Pearl Washington
Complex Says: In case you’re too young to remember, the Nike Dunk was originally a staple on the basketball court (and Pearl Washington was the truth). They were introduced to the game in 1985 when Nike produced exclusive Dunks for schools including Syracuse. Lots of teams wore the highs, but Pearl got down with the lows.
