There are plenty of sneakers that companies should make for female sneakerheads, but there are some that women should stay away from at all costs. This even includes sneakers that every male sneakerhead is camping out for. Some sneakers just don't flatter a women's frame or work with their foot and body, and that's OK.
Some sneakers are built for basketball players that are four times the size of the average woman, and are way too bulky and heavy for women to wear. There are also tons of kicks that women wear better than men, so we can't be mad. It's all about learning what sneakers work for you, and avoiding those that aren't the best choice for your specific needs. And women have way different criteria when they're picking out a sneaker than guys. Here are 10 Sneakers Women Should Never Wear.

10. Nike Zoom Hyperflight
The Hyperflights came back early this year with the "Superhero" collection. Nostalgia aside, the cushioning on these sneakers The Zoom Air in the heel is plus, but the patent leather upper is too stiff for a women's frame to take command on the court in these kicks.
9. adidas Kobe 2
Remember when Kobe had an adidas deal? It brought classics like the Crazy 8s, but the Kobe 2 was too far ahead of its time--even for for ladies. The shoe was inspired by a car, and it's just too futuristic for anyone to wear. Imagine these with a pair of leggings?
8. Reebok Double Pump
The Reebok Pump goes down in history as a classic sneaker, no doubt. But don't be fooled by the Dominique Wilkins endorsement - these are not for everyone. The design is certainly large enough to accommodate two pumps but does not fare well on smaller-sized people. A pair of Omti Lites would be much better for the ladies.
7. adidas x Jeremy Scott "Pink Bears"
Some people have been able to pull off the Teddy Bear sneakers, and surely Cam'ron has a couple pairs of these locked up on ice. But on the female foot, it looks too girly, if that's possible. Leave these to Paris Hilton and the ladies who want to walk around with a puppy in their purse. A guy should buy his girl a stuffed animal to keep in her crib, not wear on her feet. These kicks are better suited for dudes looking to make a splash at Fashion Week.
6. Air Jordan Force Fusion XIII
They make retro XIIIs in kid's sizes, so girls don't have an excuse to not pick up a pair. If they want to keep their sneakerhead cred legit amonst their male counterparts, they're better off going with a regular pair of Air Jordans instead of a pair of Fusions.
5. Nike Air Yeezy II "Red October"
Kidding... we're all just salty.
4. The same sneakers as her boyfriend
It's natural for two people who love sneakers to love the same sneakers, but that doesn't require them to love the sneakers at the same time. There are seven days in a week - just choose a different day. Fight the temptation. If you absolutely *must* take that "his and hers" photo for Instagram, at least have the decency to change before going out in public.
3. Nike LeBron IV
The LeBron IV is a classic and will probably yield high thirst levels when it retroes, but only seen a few ladies can pull these off, especially on the court. It's a hefty sneaker that was designed at the time for a 22-year-old, 6-foot-8, 238lb lion who has grown incrementally since then. The LeBron IV uses Foamposite technology and weighs in at 20.8 ounce - heavy even for LBJ himself. That's like a pair of Timbs on the hardwood.
2. Nike Air Foamposite
Foamposites get sneakerheads excited, but there's a reason the smallest size they come in is a six, and even then, they're in very limited quantities. The sneaker is bulky and take a long time to break in. This is OK for dudes, but ladies don't want to commit shoeicide over a pair of basketball sneakers.
1. Nike ACG Air Max Bakin Boot "Eggplant"
Sneakerboots are coming out left and right, but winterized sneakers have been around for years. Take these Bakin Boots boots, for example. The classic Eggplant colorway garnered ratings from a lot of sneakerheads but we'd would advise against these for the female sneaker crowd. They offer optimal protection from winter conditions, but look bulky even on a guy's foot. Try the Free Run 2/Roshe/Dunk Hi sneakerboot instead.
