We back at it for another week. After the twin NMDs and Flu Game XIIs did damage to wallets around the world last week, the sneaker brands are taking it easy on us this time around. This week, it's a laid back vibe with a couple of classics getting premium upgrades in the form of suede Gazelles and premium leather Cortez, while Jordan drops iconic kicks of their own with a pair of Jordan 1 highs. If you're looking to go a little wilder, check the Nike Sock Dart, available as of Friday on Nike ID.

adidas Originals Gazelle Vintage Suede Pack
With adidas going a bit crazy with their futuristic fashion-forward trainers recently with the stupidly popular Ultra Boost and NMD models (and the hybrid Boost + EQT Primeknit range that dropped last weekend), it’s nice to see the Three Stripes giving us a true throwback to a vintage model. The Gazelle has been in constant production since its inception, but this pack takes it back to some original colourways and premium suede uppers. Off-white midsoles and very simple ‘Gazelle’ branding will have you feeling right at home. No matter what you think about adidas’ forays into the future of footwear, you can’t argue they always know how to do a throwback retro.

Nike Air Jordan 1 High OG “Metallic Navy”
After last week’s sickening Flu Game drop online, the newly revamped Nike online store will have its work cut out for it as this sleek colourway drops. The Air Jordan 1 OG High silhouette has always been a collector favourite, completely overshadowing the AJ1 Mid and Low variants, and this simple, classy colourway is sure to continue that trend. Decked in remastered quality white leather uppers with Metallic Navy highlights, it all sits on top of a white midsole finished with a navy blue outsole.

Nike Sock Dart ID
The Sock Dart was resurrected late last year in a drop that featured Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment putting the NikeLab spin on 4 colourways. The hype around the revived silhouette was extremely high, with resell prices rocketing shortly after release. Now, with Nike ID finally coming to Australia (and Nike opening up a huge library of kicks that were previously unobtainable on these shores without proxy), the Sock Dart is set to get the custom treatment this Friday. While the Sock Dart won’t see crazy materials just yet, there will be speckled midsole and Glow In The Dark Strap options to go along with the usual ID lettering options.

Featuring the iconic original colourways that were made famous by Forrest Gump, the Cortez gets a white full leather upper to go along with the iconic toothy sole. Offset with a simple red swoosh and blue midsole hits, this is truly a blue ribbon release for the ladies.
