Over the past couple of years we've seen a number of large corporations suffer security breaches at the hands of cyber criminals, but Sony, Nintendo, and Burger King aren't the only ones getting hacked. Celebrities' Twitter accounts are prime targets for those looking to have some fun on the Net. It's become so common that some public figures who've done impossibly stupid things online—like Anthony Weiner sending dong pics to girls—have tried blaming hackers.
The results of a Twitter break-in are usually uninspired: a flood of poorly contrived, forgettable messages. But sometimes they're awesome. So much so that you spread 'em around to your friends so they can read them before the celeb takes down their page. We've rounded up the 25 Funniest Celebrity Twitter Hacks that we have ever seen so you can look back and laugh again and, also, to give future hackers something to aspire to.
25. Britney Spears Worships The Devil
Date: 1/12/2011
Hack Highlight: "I hope the new world will arrive soon as possible!" -Britney
Poor Britney Spears has had her Twitter hacked twice. Once as part of a death hoax twitter hack campaign that affected plenty of celebrities, and a second time to spread rumors that the pop star worships Satan. The first one was corny, but the latter time was deceptively humorous with an edited profile pic, background, and sadist quips that seemed just as chipper and useless as her usual tweets.
24. Bristol Palin Goes In On Herself

After gaining access to the Twitter account of former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin's daughter, a hacker decided to spend the better part of a day cursing in all caps and making fun of the fact that he or she actually hacked Bristol Palin's Twitter account. Date: 5/28/2010
Hack Highlight: "All upcoming Guns N' Roses dates are officially canceled. Please contact your place of purchase for any refunds."
Shortly after Guns N' Roses had their first tardy show in four years at the Rock'N'Rev, a prankster hacked Axl's account and told followers the band's European tour was canceled. UK promoters scrambled to inform ticket buyers otherwise; after having waited nearly a decade for the album Chinese Democracy, GNR fans wouldn't have taken the cancellation lightly.

When C-Breezy infamously trashed a Good Morning America trailer, Willow Smith's Twitter account tweeted the above quote. The tweet doesn't seem unlikely, considering the progressive, opinionated rep of parents Will and Jada, but Roc Nation reps claimed the Twitter was hacked. Jay-Z probably figured the tweet "might offend [his] political connects," and swept it under the rug.
21. Hayley Williams Gets Exposed
Date: 5/28/2010
Hack Highlight: Photo
When a hacker gained access to the Hayley Williams' Twitter account, he/she got straight to business and posted a topless picture of the Paramore lead singer. She was too busy getting ready for the racks-no pun intended-on the way from her appearance on B.o.B's single "Airplanes" that dropped the following month. Funny? Well, considering Ms. Williams was one of the few celebrities we never wished to see naked, yes, it is-in a cosmic sort of way.

Despite a close series, Paul Pierce felt the need to boast a bit too much after helping the Celts go up 2-0 in the series with an awesome 28-point game. If the Celtics actually swept the Magic that would be one thing, but they didn't. Retroactively funny, this was.
