Rose McGowan is sharing her harrowing life in her memoir, Brave. In addition to growing up in a polygamous Children of God cult and having to deal with her mom's boyfriend, who was later charged with sexually abusing his own daughter, McGowan was also allegedly raped by Harvey Weinstein. In her memoir, she includes graphic details from her alleged encounter for the first time, according to a New York Times review.

In the book, McGowan, who refers to Weinstein as "the Monster," says that she went to meet him at a restaurant in a Park City, Utah hotel. But when she arrived, the hostess told her that Weinstein was stuck on a call and ushered her to Weinstein's hotel suite. "I was certain we would be working together for many years to come, and we were here to plot out the grand arc of my career," read the book.

But when she entered the hotel suite, Weinstein was not on a call. Instead, McGowan says that he immediately started to move her toward a room with a jacuzzi before removing her clothes. Then, he allegedly performed oral sex on her as he masturbated. "He moans loudly; through my tears I see his semen floating on top of the bubbles," read the memoir.

Afterwards, McGowan met up with Ben Affleck for a photo op. But when Affleck heard that McGowan, who was noticeably disturbed, just came from Weinstein's suite, he allegedly said "Goddamn it. I told him to stop doing that."

When she told others about the encounter, McGowan said they told her to look at it as "something that would help [her] career in the long run" while a lawyer told her no one would believe her.

Now, 21 years since the alleged encounter, over 90 women have accused Weinstein of sexual assault.

McGowan’s memoir Brave is out on shelves now.
