Jeff Goldblum Teases Potential Return of Laura Dern in 'Jurassic World' Franchise

Jeff Goldblum says Laura Dern will "maybe" make an appearance in the new series.

Jeff Goldblum is throwing around hints about Laura Dern making a cameo in the Jurassic World franchise.

Goldblum, who played Dr. Ian Malcolm in 1993's Jurassic Park and its '97 sequel, is famously reprising his role in the upcoming Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Now, he's teasing fans about his Park co-star Laura Dern doing the same with her character, Dr. Ellie Sattler.

"I can’t divulge anything," he said on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in the video above. "But maybe maybe maybe she will." Goldblum also said there will be a third movie in the Jurassic World franchise where "you know, some people may or may not be in." But "that's all [he] can say."

This isn't the first time Goldblum talked about Dern joining in on the new films. Last week, he shared the possibility with Entertainment Tonight while on the red carpet for a screening of Isle of Dogs.

"I don't want to pass on gossip like my character," he said in reference to Dr. Malcolm. "But it would be good news to me and to everyone, [to] millions and billions of people all over the world...all over the universe and cosmos when Ellie Sattler returns."

It seems like Dern is up for it too. In December, she told Entertainment Tonight that it "could be fun" to return. "I mean, I love Ellie Sattler," she said. "She's a tough feminist! We need her back."

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is set to be released in theaters on June 22.
