Ben Affleck reportedly checked himself into rehab.

"He is seeking treatment. He knew he needed help and was vocal about it," a source told People. Affleck reportedly went to the rehab facility after an intervention with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner and his sober coach. Affleck and Garner split in 2015 and filed for divorce in 2017; they have three children together, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6.

"Jen wanted to give Ben the time and opportunity to work on his health and sobriety," a source told Us Magazine. "She isn’t in a rush."

Although another insider told Us that Affleck goes to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and has been "spotted outside of meditation classes," it seems it wasn't enough for now. This is the third time Affleck will enter a rehab facility. Back in 2017, he shared his reason for wanting to get better after completing a treatment program.

"I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be. I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step," read his Facebook post at the time. "I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my coparent Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do. This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery."
