Vanessa Hudgens has given birth to her second child with her husband, Cole Tucker.
The actress announced the news with a post on Instagram featuring her lying in a hospital bed.
“Well… I did it,” she wrote in the post’s caption. “Had another baby!!! What a wild ride labor is. Big shout out to all the moms. It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do.”
While in labor, Hudgens hopped onto her Instagram Stories to reveal that she popped a blood vessel in the process of giving birth. “Labor. Poppin out babies and blood vessels loooool” she wrote over a picture of the vessel in question in her eye.
Hudgens announced her pregnancy in July with an Instagram post of her maternity shoot. In the caption, she wrote, “Round two.”
Hudgens and Tucker got married in Mexico in December 2023, more than two years after they went official with their relationship on Instagram in February 2021.
The couple’s first child was born in July 2024.
Hudgens not sharing any pictures of her child may well stem from a controversy that happened last year after the birth of their first child, when a photo surfaced of her and Tucker leaving the hospital with their newborn.
"We’re disappointed that our family’s privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media," Hudgens wrote. "Despite all of that, mom dad and baby are happy and healthy."
