Comedian Tracy Morgan has gone viral for a heated confrontation with an unhoused person — one with whom he seems to share a history.
On what seems to be Jan. 21, based on the outfit that Morgan has on in the video being similar to what he wore to the New York Knicks game that night, the comedian was filmed angrily denying an unhoused man who asked him for help, because he remembered who the person was.
“I remember you,” said Morgan. “Don’t talk to me like I owe you something.”
Morgan, visibly riled up, continued. “You used to talk all that shit to me when we were younger. You think I forgot?"
Check out a clip of the moment below.
This isn’t the first time in recent months that Morgan has been reflective about his past. In October, the comedian confessed that he would “give it all back” for his friend and fellow comedian Jimmy McNair, who passed away in the 2014 car crash that almost killed Morgan as well. The accident put Morgan in a two-week coma, and he sustained broken bones in the face, a femur fracture, and brain trauma.
During an interview on CBS Mornings, when asked what he would say to people who think that "life is good” for Morgan after he reportedly received millions of dollars in an undisclosed out-of-court settlement with Walmart, Morgan immediately brought up his friend.
“I’d give it all back, if I get my friend back,” he said. “And I wouldn't even blink.”
“Miss you Jim,” he continued. “I’d give it all back, if I could get him back. But that’s not gonna happen, so I gotta live on.”
