If Soulja Boy can’t take credit for something, the next best thing is to compete with it.
The day after Kai Cenat officially announced Streamer University 2026, the rapper went on a livestream demanding an invitation. He also issued a warning that there would be bad blood if he were left out. Eventually, he settled on launching his own program: Rapper University.
On June 9, Soulja Boy posted to X: "If you don't let me in Streamer University @KaiCenat we beefin. I let u slide the first time." The post came less than a day after Cenat dropped the trailer for the event's second year, showing him walking through an abandoned campus.
Hours later, Soulja Boy went further, directing his frustration toward both Cenat and rapper/streamer DDG. "Kai Cenat, you got one more chance," he said in another clip. He warned Cenat that continuing to collaborate with DDG could put them on opposite sides.
Soulja Boy's response to the whole situation was to announce Rapper University. Although there’s not much information on the program, if the name’s any indicator, Rapper University will be about becoming a top-notch lyricist like Soulja Boy. If only we could all be so lucky.
Cenat has not yet announced exact dates for Streamer University 2026. The program is a multi-day event where up-and-coming streamers come together to learn how to level up in one of the most lucrative and popular career paths in this digital age. The 2025 edition, held at the University of Akron, drew over one million applications. The 2026 class is expected to include roughly 150 student spots, with applications open at StreamerUniversity.com for students, professors, and club directors.
