Deondre Burgin, the father of former Disney Channel star Skai Jackson’s son Kasai, has been arrested for a home burglary.
Local 12 reports that Burgin and another man, Danzial Farrier, were charged following their arrest for the burglary that happened in Cincinnati, Ohio, on June 4.
According to the outlet, a homeowner reported to the authorities that the burglary happened while he was out running errands. When he returned to his home, he discovered someone had forced their way into it while he was gone and stole money, firearms, and jewelry that were valued at $10,000.
The news of Burgin’s charges comes days after he was arrested for aggravated robbery in an alleged carjacking. Burgin was taken into custody by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and local police in Covington, Kentucky on July 14.
That arrest stemmed from Burgin and another suspect allegedly robbing the owner of a 2018 Mercedes-Benz C300 and a semi-automatic 9-caliber Glock handgun in a Cincinnati apartment complex’s parking lot. Burgin was also accused of threatening and pistol-whipping the victim.
In May, Jackson requested a restraining order against Burkin in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing domestic abuse allegations. In documents detailing the alleged domestic violence, she wrote that, “he was jealous that a male texted me so he broke my phone, choked me against the kitchen counter top.”
Jackson also acclaimed that Burgin “demanded” her to “drink bleach to kill our unborn child.”
So far, Jackson hasn’t spoken publicly about Burgin’s latest legal troubles.
