If there was any doubt that the beef between 50 Cent and Marlon Wayans is over, their run-in at CinemaCon 2026 proves that it’s a thing of the past.

In a brief clip of the two backstage with Shawn Wayans, they can be heard laughing about their back-and-forth—though what they’re saying in the clip is hard to hear.

At one point, Marlon Wayans tells Fif he called his brother and told him about the beef, but their chuckles and grins made it clear that they aren’t angry at each other anymore.

Marlon Wayans posted the clip of the linkup on Instagram.

“Beef? Nah, just some black men talking business…but damn that n**** [Shawn Wayans] he SOLD MY BLACK ASS OUT!!!” he wrote in the caption.

Their issues started when Wayans appeared as a guest on Real 92.3’s The Cruz Show and gave his thoughts about Fif’s Netflix docuseries, Sean Combs: The Reckoning.

Wayans accused the rapper of “kicking a man when he’s down” and warned that “karma” could bite him in the future.

Fif didn’t take kindly to Wayans’ words, which sparked a back-and-forth on social media with memes at each other’s expense. At one point, Ja Rule hopped in to spit his mortal enemy, saying that he was Fif’s “karma.”

Fif eventually announced that beef was over in a post that made it sound like the beef wasn’t actually over.

"I’m not beefing with Marlon no more, he not funny. [Shrug emoji] and I’m starting to think he a mook for real. [eyes emoji] No more about him," Fif wrote.

Wayans voiced his thoughts on the beef during an interview with KTLA.

”Well, I just said his name,” Wayans said. “They asked me about the documentary. I was like, ‘I didn't see it.’ And then they asked me about it, and I just gave my opinion. I was just like, ‘I don't think brothers need to be quarreling in public like that,’ and then what did I get into? A public quarrel with a brother, and I just think it was bad for the culture and so I kind of backed out.”

According to Wayans, his family’s group chat became the reality check that he needed, especially when his brother Damon weighed in.

"My brothers, they were funny. Dame was like, 'Why you pick the biggest brother? He's on gamma rays,’” said Marlon. “Stick to beefing with Soulja Boy, Kevin Hart—people that we can beat. You fight him. Leave guys that got shot nine times alone. He survived nine!"
