Kelsey Grammer isn't holding anything back as far as his feelings go for LA mayor Karen Bass, going as far as to share a wild nickname he has for her.

On Friday (May 29), according to The New York Post, the actor reportedly unveiled his special moniker for Bass at an event he hosted for US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. It started with Bessent speaking about California being a "great state" that is "just horribly run."

Grammer followed up by telling the crowd how much he supported the Republican party over the decades despite working in "liberal Hollywood," calling Bessent a "rockstar." Then he referenced Cali, saying that "stupid lives in California" in reference to Democratic policies.

He then took a swipe at Bass, saying: "I just call her Karen Bass-ackwards. That’s what we’ve always called her in my house," he reportedly told the crowd. Grammer then confirmed that he’d be voting for Spencer Pratt for mayor. "He’s the only guy that’s a real option. We know what the rest is going to do," the Frasier star added.

Grammer also addressed California governor Gavin Newsom briefly, revealing that he doesn’t support him. "I just hope we’ve heard the last of [Newsom]," he said.

Grammer’s endorsement of Pratt may be impacting the candidate’s popularity. According to the The California Post, Pratt is leading Bass in a poll that has him currently sitting at 30.1 percent support, compared to Bass' 29.5 percent.

Another poll revealed that only 32 percent of respondents approved of her job performance, while a whopping 66 percent disapproved of it.

Meanwhile, Bass is moving full speed ahead on her campaign for re-election. In one of her latest statements, the mayor revealed that she's got an endorsement from Jane Fonda in support of her campaign.

"Jane Fonda has spent her life on the front lines — from civil rights to women’s rights to the fight for our climate — and I’m deeply honored to have her support," Bass said.

"At a time when Donald Trump is attacking our city, our immigrant neighbors, and the freedoms generations of women fought to win, Angelenos need leaders willing to stand up and speak out. Jane has never been afraid to do either, and I’m proud to have her in this fight with us," Bass added.

Back in December, Grammer praised Trump, calling him "extraordinary" and declaring him "maybe the greatest" president the United States has ever had.
