Jeffrey Epstein was banned from Xbox Live in 2013, according to newly released files.

In an email addressed to Epstein in 2013, Microsoft informed him that he would no longer be able to utilize Xbox Live because of his behavior.

“This email is to notify you that your Xbox Live account privileges have been permanently suspended due to harassment, threats, and/or abuse of other players. This conduct has been determined to be severe, repeated, and/or excessive,” the email reads.

Though what Epstein did to result in him losing those privileges is unclear, the email lists several reasons that it could have happened, such as threats, verbal abuse, extortion, defamation, and stalking.

The newly released Epstein files that came out on Friday (Jan. 30) consist of three million documents and photos. Amongst the documents was the draft of a 56-page indictment that Florida prosecutors prepared in the mid-2000s, in which they sought to charge Epstein with dozens of counts of sex trafficking, enticement of a minor, conspiracy, and a number of other crimes. The case was ultimately never tried.

Elsewhere in the newly released documents, Epstein alleged that Bill Gates had “sex with Russian girls” while married to wife Melinda, and needed to get antibiotics to treat a sexually transmitted infection. Epstein also alleged that Gates wanted to “surreptitiously” give the same antibiotics to his wife.

One of the most noteworthy developments from the newly released files is that Elon Musk requested to visit Epstein’s island, Little Saint James, despite the mogul’s past claims that he rejected offers to go.
