Haliey “Hawk Tuah” Welch has a documentary coming out about her rise to viral fame.

Deadline reports that the documentary is being developed by production company Bungalow media + Entertainment, who previously created Little Richard: I Am Everything and Cyber Sleuths: The Idaho Murders.

According to a description of the film, it will “chronicle how Welch, a young woman from a small town with no active social media presence, unknowingly created a viral moment that gave way into a global phenomenon.”

Bob Friedman, the CEO of Bungalow Media + Entertainment, also spoke about the film in a statement. “With only a single sentence, Haliey Welch went from an unknown young woman having a night out on the town to "enjoying" 15 minutes of fame to global phenomenon who cemented her status in the pop culture lexicon,” he wrote.

“There are very few people who know what it is like to achieve this level of fame and live under the 24/7 microscope known as social media,” Friedman added. “This documentary will serve as both an inspiring and entertaining story of Haliey’s journey, and a lens into what it means to navigate the risks and rewards that come with living in the public’s eye.”

According to a press release, the documentary will feature interviews with Welch and other people close to her.

Welch herself released a statement about what the film will entail. “I hope y’all been enjoying the crazy stories about ‘my life’ unfold on social media,” said Welch. “First, I was dead. Then pregnant. Now I’m wanted by Interpol and in jail! Luckily, we’ve been working with Bungalow to start spilling the tea and the truth is actually even more bizarre than you think.”

Welch has mostly been quiet ever since her memecoin controversy in December. She spoke out in February and explained how she's been feeling ever since the scam that spurred legal action and soured her reputation for many (though she maintains she had no knowledge of the situation).

“I’m still a little shook up about it,” Welch said. “I wanna start by saying thank you to all my true fans and all the people that actually watch my stuff and keep up with me,” she said. “We’re trying to sort out all the pieces and stuff to get all this figured out and make everything right. Oh my god. I’m gonna cry.”
