Elon Musk is scared to go out in public due to Charlie Kirk’s broad day shooting death in September.
Musk admitted to how he’s feeling on an episode of The Katie Miller Podcast posted on Dec. 9, revealing that he feels like it’s impossible to go anywhere due to security concerns. "These days — particularly in light of Charlie Kirk's murder, there are serious security issues," said Musk around the 13-minute mark.
“It’s not that I don’t want to,” he added. “I simply can’t.”
After that, Musk explained what it’s like for him to have his guard up and be ready for situations like that in his life. “Life is on hardcore mode,” he stated. “Make one mistake and you’re dead.”
Musk has been a staunch supporter of Kirk after his death. In September, days after his death, Musk reposted a clip of him being interviewed and wrote over it, “I know you are resting in peace, Charlie. Still can’t believe this happened. Your memory lives strong.”
In other Musk news, he revealed candid details about his complicated relationship with Grimes in Ye’s documentary In Whose Name?
During a scene where he’s backstage at one of the rapper’s West Miami shows. While speaking to Ye about the latter’s relationship with Kim Kardashian, Musk related to him by bringing up his relationship with the mother of three of his children.
"Claire and I, Grimes," Musk says, "We're sort of … you know, in the same text stream, she's like, 'I love you.' And then, like, you know, a day later, like, 'I hate you.'" Musk said, chuckling, before looking at West to give him advice. Ye replies, "And what do you do?" Musk admits he doesn’t have a clear response: "Whoa, OK. Yeah, exactly." West then offers, "I don't have answers. Answers to everything except for that."
