Duke Dennis says that he was detained in China after police found a bullet in his bag.
Dennis recounted the experience to Kai Cenat and Agent 00 during a recent stream. “They had me there for two and a half hours trying to figure out what to do with me,” said Dennis.
According to Dennis, police discovered a bullet in his Goyard bag. When asked by the other streamers how it ended up there, Dennis attributed it to being in his car first.
“It was in my center console in my car because I didn’t want to get pulled over with a bunch of bullets,” said Dennis. “When I cleaned them out, I put them in my Goyard bag. I took that same Goyard bag to China."
Dennis said that Chinese authorities measured the bullet while he was detained too, to make sure of what it was. “I can’t lie — I was scared as fuck,” he admitted.
Dennis made headlines back in February when he responded to GloRilla shooting her shot at him on the remix to Jorjiana’s “ILBB2.”
On the song, GloRilla raps, “Like my ni**as tall and brown (What else?) And mixed with a little bit of ugly,” before following it up with, “Uh, uh-huh/ They say shooters shoot/ “Uh, uh-huh/ Duke Dennis, what’s up with you?”
Dennis watched the video live on stream and gave his thoughts about the lyrics. He was confused as to whether GloRilla was calling him “a little bit of ugly.”
“Those two lines is separate, though, right?” said Dennis while laughing. Then he addressed GloRilla directly. “You weren’t talking about me — I think it was like ‘uh-uhs’ in between, you know, two different people. I don’t know who she was talking about,” he said.
“OK, this is why my DMs flooded and everybody’s saying, ‘What’s up with you.’ I definitely get it now.,” added Dennis.
