Blac Chyna and Derrick Milano Are Engaged After One Year of Dating

Blac Chyna is officially engaged to Derrick Milano after just one year of dating.

A video capturing the moment that Milano popped the question surfaced online recently. The songwriter/artist brought Chyna out onstage at Howard University’s homecoming celebration, Yard Fest, and got down on one knee to show her the ring.

She saw it, smiled, cried, and hugged him — all before he even said the four words that’ll change their lives forever. After she composed herself, Milano officially asked her to marry him. She responded with a yes, of course.

Back in May, Chyna shared an Instagram Reel montage of herself and Milano to celebrate their one-year anniversary of dating. "Happy 1 year anniversary @derrickmilano . 🙏🏽❤️ Reflecting on a year of pure magic and joy with you, my dearest Derrick," White wrote in her IG caption.

"Your love, support, and friendship have filled my life with light and warmth. Thank you for showing me the true meaning of love. Here’s to countless more years of love and togetherness. I cherish you always 🌟🌹 ~ Angela #AnniversaryBlessings,” her caption continued.

Milano shared his love for Chyna in his own Instagram post, writing, "I found balance, happiness & GOD when I met you & I can’t thank you enough for helping me grow as not only your Man, but a MAN who genuinely loves his woman. This has been one of the best years in my life.”

To think that this love story could have very easily not happened. Chyna and Milano originally met in 2019, but they didn’t get together at that time. It took Milano shooting his shot in her DMs later to begin what is now their road to marriage.

Earlier this week, Blac Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, showed support for Karleen Roy by appearing on the first episode of her new talk show, Lemon Drop.
