UPDATED 10/18 1:49 p.m. ET: As promised, Jane Fonda was arrested again in D.C. on Friday. This time, she was joined by other high-profile protesters including Grace and Frankie co-star Sam Waterson.

Fuck yeah.

See original story below.

Jane Fonda was arrested Friday outside the U.S. Capitol Building after joining a protest aimed at drawing attention the growing concerns of climate change.

Fonda, 81 and no stranger to activism, has moved to the Washington D.C. area as part of a months-long extended campaign of awareness inspired in part by Greta Thunberg. WUSA 9caught a portion of Fonda's admirable act of solidarity, video of which can be seen below.

As the Oscar-winning actress told the Washington Postearlier this week, she will be protesting every Friday for the next 14 weeks, at which point she is due to resume shooting on the Netflix series Grace and Frankie.

"I'm going to take my body, which is kind of famous and popular right now because of the [TV] series and I'm going to go to D.C. and I'm going to have a rally every Friday," she said. "It'll be called Fire Drill Friday. And we're going to engage in civil disobedience and we're going to get arrested every Friday."

Speaking on how Greta Thunberg inspired her, Fonda praised the teen activist for putting "the urgency" into her DNA like never before.

"Greta said we have to behave like it's a crisis," she told The Post. "We have to behave like our houses are on fire."

Other protesters were also arrested Friday.
