Joe Biden Will Not Run for President in 2016

The long dance that has been Biden's possible candidacy now comes to an end.

After months of speculation, Joe Biden stood alongside President Barack Obama and his wife, Jill Biden, to clarify his presidential intentions. "As my family and I have worked through the grieving process, I've said all along that it may very well be that the process closes the window on mounting a realistic campaign," Biden said during his passionate address. "I have concluded that it has closed."

Though Biden will not be participating in the race as a candidate, he made a point to confirm that he would not be silent regarding the forthcoming 2016 election. "[Democrats] should run on this record," Biden said of the Obama administration's accomplishments. "We'll be building on a really solid foundation."

The Biden Dream may be over, but America still has Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, who are both clearly prepared to continue the Democrats' battle against the anomaly that is Donald Trump:
