When Stephen Colbert talks about Donald Trump, the nation listens intently. After all, Colbert's the guy who gifted Trump with his (presumed) favorite nickname: Mr. Honey-Glazed Tiger Testicle. On Tuesday's edition of Late Show, Colbert addressed his audience with a sobering reality: Donald Trump might very well secure the Republican nomination because, apparently, up is down and down is up and, sure, why not have an aging reality star in the White House?

"This is a guy who declared he was running for president then immediately followed it up with saying Mexicans are rapists and John McCain is a coward," Colbert says without somehow immediately descending into depression. "Nothing he says or does can turn off voters." Colbert then helpfully unveils a new Trump 2016 campaign slogan, complete with general offensiveness and poor font choice:

If acceptance of this future seems like too lofty a task to take on alone, take Colbert's advice: "Instead of fighting this wave, learn to enjoy drowning. Just take a deep breath of water and say the words out loud: President Trump. Sorry, I threw up in my mouth there a little bit."

*Sobs uncontrollably before also throwing up*
