American Horror Story: Roanoke got you shook? Good. That show is creepy AF and should definitely have you feeling that way. But what if, by chance, Ryan Murphy had been slyly putting together a separate (and totally secret) season of American Horror Story this whole time and possibly planning to just Beyoncé that shit? Wonder no more. That's actually happening!

Speaking withEntertainment Weekly for a deep dive on all things American Horror Story, creator Ryan Murphy revealed that he's actually been hard at work on a "covert" season of the FX series. "It's my secret season," Murphy said, perhaps unaware that it was now no longer a secret at all. "I've been working with a writer on a season that only he and I know. It's like a two-year project that we'll continue to work on the sly and not tell anybody."

This "covert" batch of American Horror Story, however, will not serve as the series' seventh season. Instead, Murphy said he's looking at these episodes as a collective experiment in episodic storytelling. "It's a different way of doing it," Murphy explained to EW. "It's one person writing all episodes. I don't know if it's going to work but it's like, well, let's try that. We might get them done and shoot them on the sly and drop it."

Murphy hasn't landed on any firm release details for this mystery season just yet, though that's most likely because releasing some scary AF television completely out of nowhere is, you know, way scarier. In the meantime, keep peeping American Horror Story: Roanoke for more moments of terror involving terrifying pig-men.
